The contrast of the textures should be stronger as he looks very odd, flat or boring. Many things need to be tweaked in the pallete. The same with the cloak colors being of blue like the Alliance theme colors. The golden bits, reminding of the classic paladin Arthas should honestly go. The pallete for the hero is really, really inaccurate compared to his real look. It's like World of Warcraft's old armor models to the newest armor models. The model in general obviously looks really old and silly. The great majority of the armor is way too bulky compared to his real look, giving him a bit of a goofy look along with that massive belt that looks off of a wrestling tournament. The face definitely looks less threatening as well, it doesn't look any 'badass' to me. The skulls in general feel less threatening in the armor with glowing bits compared to no glowing holes.
I made an image to highlight those issues that I find with the model compared to the version of the cinematic model. It's been obvious and reported millions of times about Arthas' model being absolutely outdated or very inaccurate to his real look.
